McCloskey Screeners for Sale

We sell and service the McCloskey screener range out of Ashley, Pennsylvania, and we have since 1999. Two families cover nearly every screening job on the East Coast: the S series inclined screeners and the R series direct feed screeners. Here is how they differ, and where each machine fits.

S series inclined screeners

The S series takes feed from a conveyor or a crusher and screens on an inclined screenbox, in double or triple deck. It is the family sand and gravel producers run in circuits.

  • S130 14 x 5 screenbox, the step between compact machines and full plants. Known for fine sand work.
  • S190 20 x 5, double or triple deck, dual power available. The volume producer’s standard.
  • S250 22 x 6, one of the largest track mobile screeners built. Multiple spec products at plant volume.

R series direct feed screeners

The R series loads straight from an excavator or a loader, with no separate feeder. Rugged screenboxes built for scalping, demolition, topsoil and fill.

  • R70 9 x 4 two deck, moves between small jobs easily.
  • R105 12 x 4 foot 6, mid size production, still simple to transport.
  • R155 16 x 5, the workhorse, with diesel and electric dual power.
  • R230 20 x 6, 225 hp, the heavy scalper for the front of a big crushing spread.

Which screener fits your job

Direct feed or conveyor fed is the first question. The second is deck size against your daily tonnage. If you can answer those two, we can put you on a machine, and if you are between sizes we will say so plainly rather than sell you the bigger one.

Trommels are a different tool for a different job. For topsoil, compost and mulch, look at the 512 and 516 trommel series instead, or the full trommel range. If you are crushing before you screen, see our crushers.

Common questions

What is the difference between the S series and the R series?
The S series is fed by a conveyor or a crusher and screens on an inclined box, which suits producers making multiple spec products in a circuit. The R series has a direct feed hopper, so an excavator or loader dumps straight into it, which suits scalping, demolition and topsoil work.

Do you sell used McCloskey screeners?
Yes. Availability changes constantly, so see our used equipment listings or call and tell us what you are after and we will let you know what is coming through.
