A feeder keeps the plant fed at a steady rate instead of dumping material and choking the crusher. We sell and service feeders, new and used, out of Ashley, Pennsylvania, and have since 1999, for quarry, aggregate, recycling and biomass operations that need to control the rate into the primary.
Which feeder fits your job
A grizzly feeder, the pick for dirty shot rock, meters rock into a jaw crusher and scalps the fines through the bars before they reach the chamber. A vibrating or pan feeder gives steady, even flow from a hopper into a crusher, screen or conveyor. An apron feeder, steel pans on a chain, takes large, sharp, high-tonnage feed out of a dump pocket where a belt would not survive.
Tell us your feed size, tons per hour and what it feeds, and we will point you at the unit.
New, used, parts and service
We carry both. A used feeder can be a smart buy on a simple, rugged machine. Ours sit at the front of the crushing and screening lines we sell: McCloskey, Lippmann and Superior. Our MSHA-certified crew works on what we sell, from Maine down to Georgia, and stocks wear parts.
A feeder pairs with the machine behind it. Feeding a primary? See our crushers. Classifying? Our screeners. Moving product off the back end? Our stackers.
