Tub grinders take bulky, awkward feed with less pre-sorting: stumps, land-clearing debris, pallets, storm cleanup and yard waste, so they fit municipalities and compost yards running mixed green waste. Horizontal grinders run a controlled infeed for a more uniform product and tighter sizing, suited to high-volume biomass and recycling operations grinding wood waste to spec for fuel, animal bedding or colored mulch.
