Fine Material Washer

The Superior Fine Material Washer helps producers keep spec sand in spec by washing, classifying, and dewatering fine aggregate in one proven screw washer system.

Sand production depends on controlling what stays in the product and what leaves with the water. The Fine Material Washer separates unwanted silts, clays, and lightweight contaminants from the material stream, then uses screw action to lift clean sand out of the pool and move it toward discharge. With single and twin screw configurations, adjustable overflow control, protected bearings, and durable wear components, it gives operations a reliable way to recover valuable fines and maintain consistent sand gradation. Superior describes the machine as a workhorse for sand production that washes, classifies, and moves material through the circuit.
