Coarse Material Washer

The Superior Coarse Material Washer gives aggregate producers a straightforward way to clean larger rock and gravel while removing clay, silt, crusher dust, and lightweight contaminants from the material stream.

In a wash circuit, dirty coarse material needs more than a rinse to become a clean, usable product. The Coarse Material Washer uses screw agitation, water, and controlled retention time to scrub material, float away unwanted fines and organics, and carry clean aggregate up the incline for discharge. With single and twin screw configurations, adjustable overflow control, protected bearings, and wear-resistant paddles, it supports reliable washing performance in demanding aggregate applications. Superior describes the unit as a coarse screw built to separate floating organics and silts while lifting clean material out of the pool and onto the stockpile.
