Blade Mill Washer

The Superior Blade Mill Washer breaks down sticky, clay-bound material before it reaches the rest of the wash circuit, helping improve screening efficiency and product consistency.

When feed material arrives loaded with clay, silt, mud, or soft aggregates, it can slow down the entire washing process. The Blade Mill Washer works ahead of the screen or screw washer to liquefy the feed, loosen fine contaminants, and condition the material for better downstream separation. Its paddles, spiral flights, curved belly pan, and heavy-duty drive system help keep material moving through the tub while reducing buildup and improving wash performance. Superior notes that blade mills are used to liquefy material before screening, improve screening efficiency, improve sand equivalency, break up soluble clay, and remove organic material.
